After Work Enrichment Program
All of our current HCOC Skill Development Work Center participants can join in the fun in our After Work Enrichment Program. These are weekly scheduled social events that present the opportunity for our participants to socialize with their coworkers outside of the daily work environment. Afternoon activities are planned to provide enrichment with literacy classes, recreation, dance, live music, bingo, music therapy, and art.
Examples of our artwork are the murals on display in the lobby of the Bentley building. Each year we add a new mural to the HCOC gallery.
The programs are one hour long and topics are varied to keep the attendees interested. Bingo is always a huge hit! The final program in May is the spring dance extravaganza. The program stops during the summer months and returns in the fall. A snack is provided at the end of the hour.
There is no charge to participate in the fun, and everyone that currently is enrolled at the HC Opportunity Center is welcome.
Family members are welcome to come and volunteer to assist the staff.
