Vocational Evaluation
In order to determine each individual’s needs, interests and potential, we conduct a vocational evaluation. This helps us learn about the individual so the best possible route to success can be conceptualized.

Skill Development Center
Coming to HC Opportunity Center, individuals often have little or no work experience. We have the opportunity to change that in our Skill Development Center, where participants work on production projects and learn vital lessons about the workplace and themselves.

Community Participation Programs
This HCOC program centered activities worker engagement program helps individuals, regardless of abilities, to increase the potential for competitive employment, build natural supports, increase independence, experience meaningful community participation and develop social relationships. Planned activities empower individuals to live more productive and fulfilling lives.

Competitive Integrated Employment
Our program provides individuals with the support they need to integrate into the competitive workforce where they can fulfill their employment goals. HCOC Employment Specialists market this service to employers, successfully matching a company’s needs and an individual’s skills and interests.

After Work Enrichment
Our After Work Program gives participants at HCOC an opportunity to socialize and enjoy fun activities in small group settings “after work”. Every Wednesday afternoon from September through the end of May friends gather to have a good time. There are also dances throughout the year, and the grand finale is HCOC’s Got Talent Show!

Adult Daily Living Center
Our Adult Daily Living Center provides personal care and meaningful activities for adults with disabilities. In addition, this valuable program offers respite and support for participant family members.

1:1 Case Management
At HCOC Program Specialists work with each participant providing one-to-one attention and support.
