Thorndale, PA — Handi-Crafters Inc. is proud to announce the receipt of a $100,000 leadership gift from longtime supporter Andrew Bentley—the largest individual donation the organization has received in the past decade

The gift will directly support Handi-Crafters’ mission to provide vocational training, competitive integrated employment, community engagement, and essential support services for more than 250 adults with disabilities annually across Chester County.

“This extraordinary gift is a powerful affirmation of the dignity, potential, and value of the individuals we serve,” said Executive Director April Ennis-Pierson. “It will have an immediate and lasting impact on pathways to meaningful employment and independence.”

At just 41, Bentley represents a new generation of philanthropists committed to investing in organizations aligned with their values. His support is rooted in personal relationships with individuals who work and participate in programs at Handi-Crafters.

This transformational gift also marks the third largest individual contribution in the organization’s 65-year history and comes as Handi-Crafters prepares to celebrate its 65th anniversary in 2026.ecades of partnership and progress, while also looking ahead.
